The apartment is wonderfully located right on the beachfront, with a private terrace, BBQ, and amazing sea views. You literally just cross the street and you’re on the sand. There are two lively chiringuitos directly in front of the apartment — even if you don’t go, you can enjoy the music from the terrace at a comfortable distance. Although compact, the apartment is well laid out and works well for a couple with two kids. The host is very responsive, usually replying to messages in under 30 minutes. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, plus a small market just down the street, which is very convenient. PortAventura is a short 30 minute drive away.

While this property deserves a 10/10 for its location, it falls short on maintenance and cleanliness. We ran into several issues, such as clogged drains and faulty installations. Some were even concerning, like a broken sliding glass door that was only held in place by its own weight. We reported it immediately, but the owner said it couldn’t be fixed before our stay, so we avoided using it. Another time, the terrace light cable suddenly dropped with live current — we had to block off the area with chairs to keep our child safe. The apartment looked clean at first glance, but on closer inspection, details kept surfacing. We even had to shower wearing sandals. Hopefully, these issues can be addressed, as they take away from the great potential of this property.
