The resort is great. Top tier services. A little dated but they maintain the grounds well, the pools are very clean amd secure, so is the beach. The apartment has good furniture and clearly a newer sofa than the one in the photos, which was a great bonus. The apartment was clean, and balcony also great to use.

The host experience was weird. We arrived the night before the war broke out. We were rather concerned and having heard and seen the Burj Al Arab incident and fire, was certainly unsettling, just like the rest of our stay. Our host simply reached out on like Sunday or Monday with a stock question how we are liking our stay. I was surprised that amyone would at that point just nonchalantly ask about how our stay was, rather than check in on how safe their guest feels etc. At the end, again, they only reached out offering a chauffeur service or extending our stay. Just like any business, they seemed only concerned about making money, rather than actually check in on their guest with some empathy for the unprecedented situation which escalated in the Middle East due to the Iran conflict. As for the apartment, the biggest down side is the age of it. Some areas are date, like the kitchen, the floors, and most of all the air conditioning, which smells mouldy and is super noisy even at the lowest setting. It would be impossible to stay in the apartment in summer as due to the noise the ac simply cannot be on at night. Lastly, the building has improvement works ongoing, with construction to the risers. This meant the corridor to the apartment was a construction site during the day, and was noisy during the day when we needed our daughter to nap. These little annoyances certainly dont make the stay worth the cost I paid for it.

The view was amazing, very clean, and the location is perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful
