Visit the impressive Trakoan Castle, which impresses with its picturesque location and historical charm. The nearby museum of the famous Lepoglavska lace offers you a fascinating insight into the traditional craftsmanship of the region.
For active holidaymakers, there are numerous hiking, walking and cycling trails that will take you through the beautiful landscape. A special recommendation is a visit to the mountain hut on Ivanica, where you can enjoy a marvellous view. In the immediate vicinity of Lepoglava is the Gaveznica semi-precious stone site, the only volcanic area in Croatia that is worth a visit. Fishing enthusiasts will also get their money's worth: a lake not far from your holiday home offers ideal conditions for relaxing hours by the water. You can also visit the local restaurants and farms, which offer a variety of regional dishes and wines.
