You can really see how much love and care has gone into the garden. There are so many little details, and many things seem to have been made by hand, which makes the whole place feel very special and charming. The garden also has a wonderful smell thanks to the lavender and rosemary. We really appreciated that charcoal was left ready for the barbecue, and overall the room was very clean. The house itself has clearly had a fresh renovation.

What we didn’t like was that the bathroom and toilet are located downstairs, and you have to go outside and use a spiral staircase to reach them. This was quite uncomfortable and, unfortunately, this was not clear from the photos. We were also expecting a very private and peaceful place based on the Booking photos, but in reality the entire second floor snd atairs is quite visible from the surrounding cafés, restaurants and the busy road nearby. There is also some road noise, so it didn’t feel secluded at all. The bathroom could also have been cleaned more thoroughly, especially the cobwebs. We came specifically to escape the noise of the city and enjoy some privacy and nature, so we were quite disappointed at first. If you’re mainly planning to spend your time at the lake and only use the house occasionally, this place could be a good option. But if you’re looking for peace, quiet and privacy, this is probably not the right choice.

It is a pretty place, ideal for a short stay on a round trip, but not for longer holiday.

There might be too much chlorine in the bubble bath, bed is shaky and loud when you go in and out, and shower (which is detached from sleeping unit) floods easily.

The heating in the room was adequate; the downstairs area was well designed and pleasant, although it was rather cold.

Cleanliness was extremely poor.We found the previous guests’ trash in the bedroom. After four hours of travel, and only one hour before arrival, we were informed that the whirlpool was not working. This was very inconvenient, as the high price we paid was mainly for that experience. After two or three days, we managed to get it working ourselves, but we were only able to use it for less than one day, after having to heat the water manually with buckets of hot water because the temperature was too low. We were told that the kitchen was equipped with utensils, but in reality there was almost nothing available. The stairs are extremely uncomfortable, especially when carrying luggage; if a person is overweight, it would be very difficult to pass through. The humidity on the lower floor is excessive.
