Spacious and trendy modern cottage style house in the woods, steps away from beach/trails. The place is nicely decorated and all the basic amenities are available. No full kitchen but all basic cookware is there (including portable stove, rice cooker etc.). Hosts also provided a family-friendly environment with games for kids. The outdoor environment is gorgeous, close to nature (we even saw a baby black bear crossing the road in the neighborhood). A grocery store is a few minutes drive away.
The nightly rate is relatively high compared to the other major cities of the island but I guess it reflects the regional difference because it’s closer to Tofino. Weather is hit or miss: on a cloudy cold day, getting into water is difficult and thus activities are pretty limited.
