Sunny Days beach house

Staying as a couple in June we both said that this is the best property we have ever stayed in (in this price range). We were informed where to find the keys and the host contacted us by telephone to check everything was OK, we did not see the hosts throughout the stay. There is both a front and back garden so you can follow the sun/shade. The welcome pack was generous, beers, water and wine in the fridge along with bread, cake and brioche, jams, honey, creamers, everything you need for breakfast. Things you may like to know: You will pass no petrol stations after Argalasti so make sure you fill up. If the property being on one level is important to you then you need to know that after the blue gate there are 7 concrete steps (no handrail), about a 20m pathway, 1 step into the yard and then 4 steps (with handrail) into the property. We arrived on Sunday and parking was challenging. The nearest parking about 50m away was full and we had to park in the public parking on the edge of the village about 200m away. Space was available later in the evening and for the rest of our stay. It is possible to pull up outside the property and pull in against some steps (see photo). You will quickly be told by a local that you can't park there but for 10 mins you are not blocking the road and can unload. There is a lovely walk up the mountain behind the village to Trikeri, focus in on google maps and the road will appear. It's a stone road not suitable for a car and zig zags up the mountain before joining the main road before the village, takes about 1 hour. Have lunch in the excellent O Achilleas Steakhouse and either walk back or pick up a taxi, we saw quite a few. There is also a larger well stocked Supermarket (check opening hours). Restaurant recommendations: there are only five and the reviews are representative, all the ones we used were good.

Nothing to not like about this place.

Het appartement ligt dicht aan zee (geen zeezicht) met aan de voorzijde en achterzijde een groot terras waardoor je op elk moment van de dag in de zon of schaduw kunt zitten. De keuken is ruim voorzien van apparaten, glazen en servies. De eigenaren hadden voor ons al wat drinken en eten klaargezet. We hebben goed geslapen. De wifi werkte ook goed. Ook leuk is dat het appartement en de terrassen zijn voorzien van allerlei spullen die met de zee te maken hebben.

De badkamer is niet heel groot en voelde een beetje bedompt aan. Misschien komt dat omdat in de badkamer het plafond is verlaagd.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν πραγματικά υποδειγματική. Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε μια ονειρική τοποθεσία, κυριολεκτικά 10 μέτρα από τη θάλασσα, προσφέροντας την απόλυτη άνεση. Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος, πλήρως εξοπλισμένος με όλες τις παροχές και δεν μας έλειψε τίποτα καθ' όλη τη διάρκεια της παραμονής μας. Ακόμη και ο πάγκος της κουζίνας και τα ντουλάπια ήταν γεμάτα με όλα όσα χρειάζεται κανείς εάν επιθυμεί να κολατσίσει. Αυτό όμως που έκανε τη διαφορά ήταν οι οικοδεσπότες: άνθρωποι ευγενέστατοι και εξαιρετικά πρόθυμοι μας έδωσαν άριστες προτάσεις και καθοδήγηση για τις περιηγήσεις μας κατά το διάστημα διαμονής μας. Η κατανόηση και η ευγένειά τους σε κάθε μας ανάγκη, μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας από το πρώτο λεπτό. Μια σπάνια εμπειρία φιλοξενίας στην Αγία Κυριακή που σίγουρα θα επαναλάβουμε!

Δεν υπήρξε απολύτως τίποτα που να μην μας ικανοποίησε. Όλα ήταν προσεγμένα μέχρι την τελευταία λεπτομέρεια.
