Има 2 неща, които трябва да се оправят. 1. Не е нормално да трябва да се ходи на 1 км от апартамента за да се вземе ключа. Този проблем се решава навсякъде с локър до входа. 2. На нито една врата на втория етаж няма номер на апартамент. За да разбереш кой е ап. 2 трябва да пробваш ключа на коя врата става. Добре, че не ни арестуваха 😀. Сложете номер на вратата.

Excellent downtown location to explore Reykjavik from and a great base if you have a car as it includes GENUINE OFF-STREET PARKING in a private garage on site. Many other listings say they include parking but then say it's street parking, which you have to pay for and can be extremely expensive if you're in a Zone 1 or 2 area. The apartment is nicely appointed and was spotlessly clean. The neighbours were all friendly too and you didn't get the sense that there was resent towards it being used as a holiday rental. If you're travelling with young kids, there's a huge park (that the Art Museum sits at the top of) with a great set of playground areas a five minute walk away and smaller playgrounds dotted nearby too. Brikk bakery is a great stop for coffee and pastries and couldn't be more local. Hlemmur Mätholl is a decent food hall with excellent pizza, pho and others and there's a 10/11 24hr convenience store opposite for essential groceries. Both are a 5min walk away.

We had a bit of an issue with a radiator that wouldn't turn off, but it'll be a simple fix and no doubt taken care of soon.

Great location, clean and comfortable

This apartment was the best quality-price rental we booked during our whole vacation! While this is not a luxury apartment, it is very spacious, clean, comfortable, has a free parking garage included in the price, and a lovely internal courtyard for kids to play in. Very nice location as well, 10 min from the center!
