Red Fusion Apartment

The location is very good, the place itself is OK. There's humidity smell inside and all our clothes still had this specific smell when we came back home. Please mind that you arrive before 10.00pm as the host does not reply even to Booking.com after that time in case of any issue and we did have a serious issue relating to the key box - we could not have the key due to the wrong code provided in the instructions sent to us! My 2 children and I had to stay in the street literally until 04.00 a.m. trying to sort out the issue through Booking.com but in vane. We had several long phone conversations but they were not able to relocate us, they said they would cancel our reservation with this host being not reliable, and advised us to find somewhere to spend the night at our own and have an invoice at a price similar to that we had prepaid. It turned to be a nightmare as we had to find a place having reception desk to communicate with and it was mission impossible (we excluded the most expensive hotels as an option, of course). After several places visited on foot nearby with no success, we took a taxi and finally were accommodated in a small and simple hostel and stayed their until 11am. In the morning we decided to contact our host to check what the situation was as we did not want to waste more time in finding something else and not enjoy the city in the next 3 days. The lady just apologized and said we could come back to the place and so we did since it was the best option for all the parties involved. The last morning I received an automatic message saying that we should leave until 10am (but it is specified 11am). That was all against the inconvenience, discomfort an frustration incurred. The next day I phoned Booking again and was held on the line for almost 1 hour to just find out in the end that I will be refunded the amount for the first night and will get €23.78 (!) as a compensation.
