Following an off the cuff decision to go away for the weekend, we stumbled across Maes Y Neuadd Country House and couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The host welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to our rooms. The room was excellent (Mountain view) with a lovely window bench to perch on. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Friendly staff. Michelle was so lovely and made us feel at home instantly.
Difficult to get to and entrance needs work. Rooms had no wardrobe and an electric shower with very low water pressure. Very basic facilities although has a warm, cosy feel. Considering the high price, I expected more "luxury".
