Charlie's Cabin is the ultimate hideaway spot to get away from it all! Listen to the striking dawn chorus as you wake, watch the forever changing mountain vistas, soak in the warmth from the fire and indulge in brand new spa.
This space caters for all, whether you are looking for a romantic couples getaway, family holiday or cool spot to hang with friends.
Make yourself at home, relax and enjoy everything this cosy cabin and the surrounding area has to offer.
Charlie's cabin will make you feel relaxed and right at home! It's an authentic pre loved log cabin with lots of character and quirky features.
A well equipped functional kitchen. Open plan living space, boardgames, puzzles and books + two TV’s with Netflix, Youtube, Freeview and DVD capabilities.
A Log fire keeps the place cosy with plenty of wood stock piled. There is also a heat pump for those mornings where instant heat is necessary.
One of the highlights of this place is the spa complete with amazing views!
One of the added features of this property is we have great unlimited Wifi signal and phone reception.
There are no parties or large gathering allowed at this property.
You will have access to the entire Cabin.
Please note: There is a staircase to access the 2nd level where all bedrooms are located. The banister on this level may not be suitable for small children.
This is an alpine environment and snow chains are recommended during the winter seasons if you are staying during a predicted large snow dump - its advised t park at the top of the driveway to minimise the risk of needing to be towed out.
Strictly no outdoor fires except in the designated fire place.
In Mount Lyford village you are not allowed any fencing. If you have a dog friend staying with you must keep them on the property and under effective control.

We had fantastic communication with the host and due to an unexpected and traumatic family situation Kylie was wonderful and took a human approach which was so very appreciated. The home was well appointed and very well presented. Everything was just as we expected from the description; the spa was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the heart pump and fire meant the whole house was able to be kept warm. We would recommend this lovely log cabin in this most beautiful spot and stay again!

Host was great and they weren't wrong about the epic views! It is one the photos dont give justice. Everything was clean and they had everything we needed. Was a great little jaunt away and close to Christchurch. Thanks for having us!

Clean, warm, incredible views, communication with the host was so fast and clear, soaking in the hot tub was a delight and our dogs really loved the area too

Lovely peaceful place and bonus to be able to bring our dog. The cottage was well stocked and cozy.
