Host canceled our reservation day of while we were on the way, only about an hour out, for no reason. We had to scramble Labor Day weekend to find new lodging. Terrible experience.

Let me start by saying that I have never left a bad review of a property. The house had an unpleasant odor when we arrived, which we found out is due to a factory in the area. The washer and dryer require 2 each for laundry which was not on the description. Towels are small, beds are hard, and upstairs is on the same thermostat which made it either too warm or too cool. She supplies a fan, which helps.The worst part is the trains that go by every 2-3 hours day and night and shake the upstairs bed and lamp. Do not stay here if you want to sleep. Woke up on 2nd day to a swarm of ants in the kitchen. She had bug spray and it helped. If I had not booked for three days, we would have left to stay somewhere else. Absolutely awful!

This was the worst stay I have had. She locked us out the unit soon as we got off the road from a 5hr road-trip to a family reunion. Saying it was to many ppl with us which was my mom that we was dropping off after we checked in. She said no she had to leave right away or she will kick us out with no refund. We told her we wanted to check in first, she was very rude. Saying I need to see her walk off the property now! When we went back to the car we noticed she was in her car watching us. We was watched on the cameras the whole stay couldn’t enjoy our stay cause she kept calling and messaging to (remind) us of the house rules. It was super cold in the unit we could not turn down the air or leave the door open to make it warmer cause that was against the house rules. I had to buy towels because she warned us many times about not getting them dirty so we just didn’t use them. Only one tv worked! If we came in to late that was a problem also! She knew everything we was doing because she watched us on the cameras that is all around the house. I don’t think this should be a option at all for a rental. We all was very uncomfortable the whole time we was there. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED
