Nice place.

Some rooms have an amazing view. We had to advocate for clean room. Staff in restaurant was amazing. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and fairly priced.

Day front desk staff was uninterested and even surly. The worst I have seen in years. Night desk staff was excellent.

great location - a little bit out of the city center but still very walkable. located next to a very bautiful park. swimming pool is big and deep in one section which i love - bar at the pool very nice - staff friendly and attentive - great value for money.

semana santa weekend lots of teenagers etc..in the pool - not the hotel's fault. all the sun loungers occupied and some people leaving their towels there as if this give you a right to the sun lounger.

A great stay as Gran Hotel Xalapa offered everything we need for our lengthy Holiday stay to visit with family.

It is a big property and everything worked well. The staff kept the rooms clean for us daily. The staff are very professional, accommodating, and friendly. The restaurant is very good and convenient for when you have plans and don’t have time to eat breakfast out. Also La Churreria, a wonderful restaurant, is right across from the Hotel. This hotel is also right next to a major park. It is also conveniently accessible by car of taxi.

The room could use make overs. Som of the furniture and the floor/laminate is ever so slightly dinged up. The electrical needs more updated outlets as travelers are typically charging more than one device.

We had one of our most memorable vacations ever.

Grand old hotel in a great location, near a huge park and close to the city center. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant had excellent service and good food.

The hotel is staffed with professionals who do their best! Xalapa itself is quite a unique city, it`s situated on the hills and there are many great views. Also we very much enjoyed the incredible atmosphere of the city so it is defenitely worth a visit!

La habitación que nos dieron al principio tenía calefacción y no funcionaba el control remoto y hacía mucho calor. Pero nos cambiaron a otra habitación mucho mejor.

el hotel en general esta en pesimas condiciones, los cuartos son verdaderamente deplorables, los muebles estan viejos y manchados, la alfombra es increible que sucia estaba, el cuarto olia a humedad, todo de verdad muy mal, me sali al siguiente dia y me cobraron una penalizacion por salirme. pero el hotel esta muy mal

Los meseros del restaurante fueron muy gentiles y amables, la comida sabrosa y el hecho de tener espectáculo en la noche es agradable.

Solamente la actitud de la recepcionista chaparrita, atiende a uno con un semblante que parece que le va pedir uno un favor. Creo que debe estar más relajada y simplemente ser amable, tampoco se pide algo que no sea sensato.
