We enjoyed our stay. The lake house had all we needed for a nice and relaxing getaway. The view was beautiful. You can walk Down to the dock and ride the kayaks. It’s a very private area. The kitchen and rooms were spacious and equipped with everything you need and was very cleaned. Will make sure to come back.

The house was great - very comfortable but very isolated. It was a treacherous walk down to the lake - we thought it would be closer but the path down there was not well maintained at all. I was too scared to actually get to the dock. The ramp to the dock was very steep and on some very big tires -that I guess support the dock. We thought there was a covered porch to sit out and have our breakfast watching the beautiful lake - unfortunately it was raining so we could not sit outside without getting wet. The road to the property was unpaved and not marked very well so we didn't venture out much. We walked around and there are some beautiful homes nearby but we didnt see anyone for days. There is one restaurant about 15 mins away but it was closed due to Hurricane Helene. The home was perfect. Dealing with the property company - not so much. We were isolated and if something bad had happened I dont think anyone would have found us. I much prefer dealing with a property owner - All in all - it was a nice very quiet trip

House and kitchen was well equipped for guests and and we enjoyed it. Not the best for small children because of the extreme height from decks and countless low windows.

Overall the house was fine and worked well for a weekend stay for a destination wedding at Nantahala Weddings (7 min from venue). WiFi was a lifesaver as there is NO service around this area. However, unfinished walls and cracks/holes in the wall made it feel not managed very well.
Pros: Clean sheets and towels, plus a lot of the little things you may forget or not have access to since the closest grocery store/shops are about 30/45 min away. Great water pressure. Hot tub was clean and covered. Views of the changing leaves and lake were beautiful. Kitchen was stocked with extra appliances (keurig, toaster, blender, etc.) and pans/pots. Gated community so it felt very safe.
Cons:
The house seemed unfinished with some walls downstairs without drywall and cracks/holes in the walls around the whole house. Lake was beautiful, but we couldn’t access the dock (no direction from the management company about this) and the trail down was poorly maintained/not suitable for young children or people with balance or mobility issues. The view of the lake is obstructed by a lot of trees. No lights on the drive into the “neighborhood,” so be prepared to go slow. Finally, lack of clear checkout directions (trash, clean up, etc.).
