Hickory Creek Cottage - Relax with the whole family at this peaceful century home located in Forest 10 minutes from Ipperwash beach on Lake Huron. Built in1890 this home has been renovated with rustic charm and sits on an acre of land with hickory creek running through the back. Wake up and sip your coffee on the patio, deck, front porch or around the fire pit. There's a yoga studio, games room and plenty of space in the back yard for soccer, badminton, cornhole and more. Beaches, golf courses, wineries and cideries all nearby.

We hope to return some day. The entire home was exceptionally clean. The room size met our needs for a family of five. The decor throughout the home made you feel right at home. The backyard was spacious for play for any season of the year. There is a nice sized deck with plenty of chairs for lounging. The host provided great information about area activities.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Well exceeded our expectation. The host Gail was super friendly and patient. I asked for suggestions on where to hike. Gail suggested nearby parks and hiking trails at Pinery provincial park, and provided us with both ecopy and hardcopy maps. Gail also passed a detailed list of places to visit and eat in town. The cottage itself was super clean, well designed and renovated, cozy. We found many little surprises when we arrived, and the kids loved the treats and candies.Highly recommend to anyone family travelling with kids won't be disappointed
