The unit needs some updating. The unit was not very clean. The location was good nice view of the lake but dock are not available to guests.

I just got back from one of the BEST getaway spots in the entire Midwest (at the Golden Gate Cottage in Beaver, Arkansas)!! Here’s the short story:-Fantastic scenery all around. The cottage is just feet from the water & a half (city) block away from a beach & awesome floating area. Level walking trail beside the water directly in front of the cottage. 10 min (easy & gorgeous) drive to Eureka Springs * If you’ve never been to Eureka Springs, it is one of the most unique, diverse, and interesting small cities in the entirety of the Midwest. A vacation that would be difficult to find otherwise anywhere else in the US. Very progressive, tons of local (delicious) restaurants, ample art/antique/craft/jewelry shops, natural springs, history……and so much more! -Super comfy place to stay. Has a king bed & two twins, two bathrooms, a kitchenette & big front porch/deck overlooking the water. New paint. New construction. Clean & well appointed.-Overlooking the Little Golden Gate Bridge (one lane replica of the biggie in San Francisco)-Quiet, great for star gazing, trails, water sports, etc.If you’re looking for something special; If you’re looking for something unique; If you’re looking for something affordable……..this is a GREAT pick!!
