Besides being immaculately clean and private, what really stood out to me was the attention to detail in matters of convenience and comfort. For example: Two washers and dryers- an entire day isn’t wasted doing the whole family’s laundry. A few snacks and beverages in the fridge from the deli after a long day of traveling to the island- saving you from being hangry while getting settled in before you can make it to the market or a restaurant. Outlets in the nightstands that are easily accessible, toiletries, spices available for meals cooked at ‘home’. Plenty of towels and extra linens. I could keep going! It’s the little things that make big differences.Though we didn’t need any additional assistance while we were there, we communicated with JP to get checked in, who was polite and quick to respond. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations. Everyone in our party was pleasantly surprised to see how far our dollar went with this trip. We’ve been coming to St. John 1-2x a year for about 9 years. This has been one of our favorite and most relaxing stays so far.

Everything was wonderful, except the driveway. It was a bit of a shock and it was difficult to get out of the driveway on a daily basis and it grew increasingly so as the days went on. That being said, the hosts were wonderful and the house was well stocked. The views are beautiful and the drive there is very scenic. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but if you like privacy, this is a good place. Cruz is only about 12 minutes away, so it’s not that far if you like going into town on a regular basis or if you have to make a trip for groceries.Having two washers and dryers made packing and going home with clean clothes a breeze. There is more than enough supplies at the house to get you through whether it be towels, kitchen, stuff, bedding, etc. It’s a wonderful walk down to the pool and the local wildlife likes to come and visit as well. The beds were comfortable, the house stayed cool, and the fact that the house has a generator made me feel more comfortable in case of power outage. Be sure to ask about the private beaches that are available. JP was wonderful at explaining all of the options we had when we got there, even though it was later than anybody had anticipated. We brought our kids and my mother with us, but having a second floor with a whole separate living situation was a bonus. They had a place to themselves that they could go and hide if they needed to. Separate kitchen was also nice so they could get up and make breakfast in the morning and not wake anybody up.
