This beautiful custom-built home on a quiet side street in North Manzanita sleeps up to eight people (max 6 adults). Enjoy treetop views and listen to the birds sing at this lovely property just a few blocks from the beach.
This two-story home has tall ceilings throughout and expansive vaulted ceilings on the upper level. Hemlock Heights has an airy, open floor plan, perfect for entertaining and enjoying great conversation while maintaining privacy. The spacious second-level living room and kitchen are perfect for hosting friends and family, with a dining area seating for eight. This home has been thoughtfully designed with tasteful yet comfortable furnishings and a gas fireplace to keep you cozy on chilly evenings.
The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, custom stone countertops, and a large island with bar stools. It would be a cook's dream to prepare meals here. The deck is a wonderful extension of the living room with a Weber gas barbecue and ample outdoor seating. Enjoy the tall pine trees and zen-like atmosphere the deck has to offer.
The second-level primary suite is just down the hall from the living room/kitchen. It is comfortable yet roomy, with a plush, luxury king-size bed, a cozy seating area, and a writer's desk. We all loved this spacious clean home. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet (even over 4th of July) and friendly. It was not far from the ocean or Main Street. We would definately recommend this home to others.

We loved this home and would love to go back! It was clean and very well kept. The big back deck was nice to sit and listen to the ocean and the squirrels chatter. Only thing we would change is the mattress' in the bunk room. They are not very comfortable, even the teens who can sleep anywhere had a hard time.

The house was nice and clean and very well appointed, but it was 90-100 degress over the 4th and no AC. I don't really expect AC at a beach house on the Oregon coast, but it was very difficult to air the house out in the evenings. The high ceilings trapped the hot air and the ceiling fans did nothing. There is no space around the house to sit outside, other than the sloped gravel driveway or in the carport. The deck faces east into the forest, which is odd, given the ocean is south and the house is on a south facing hill. Also, the deck furniture is low quality fake plastic adirondack chairs that are very uncomfortable. If spending time outside, soaking up the salt air is important to you, this is not the property for you. Lastly, the only other issue was the hot water. It would take forever to get hot water and the water pressure/shower head was so restricted my wife couldn't get enough flow to wash her hair. Other than those specific issues, the property is well appointed and very clean. My wife particulary liked the mattress in the master and my kids said the bunks were very comfortable.
