    I had a wonderful 4-night stay at The Merchant Hotel in Baku, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel has a truly luxurious feel, with elegant interiors that look brand new and are impeccably maintained. Everything was spotless throughout my stay. I especially loved the room design, particularly the bathroom—it was beautifully laid out and stylish. The only minor disappointment was discovering that my room didn't have a balcony. That was entirely my mistake, as I had thought I had booked a balcony room. In the end, it wasn't an issue at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the room, and it actually turned out to be an advantage since the road outside is quite busy, making the room quieter. The location is simply outstanding. The hotel sits at the edge of the Old Town, within easy walking distance of Nizami Street, Baku Boulevard, numerous cafés, restaurants, shops, and most of Baku's major attractions. Although the hotel entrances open onto pedestrian streets, taxis can drop you very close to the property, leaving only about a three-minute walk to the entrance. Another feature I really appreciated was the hotel's free cancellation policy, which was quite rare among Baku hotels when I made my reservation. Overall, I loved everything about my stay. From the luxurious atmosphere and exceptional cleanliness to the perfect location and excellent value, The Merchant Hotel is, in my opinion, the best hotel choice in Baku. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
