About this house rental
Welcome to Grand View Lake House! This 1800 square foot lake property is conveniently located near Perham, MN on Big Pine Lake. The home has a unique and charming character with three bedrooms and one bath. As you look around you will find many locally sourced building materials such as pine logs, colorful rock and the original hardwood floors.
You’ll be able to enjoy your morning coffee and a sunrise across Big Pine from either the two-story sunroom or the cozy back deck. Being just fifteen steps from the west shore of Big Pine Lake gives you the best of both worlds, sweeping panoramic views and quick access to the water.
The dock will lead you out to shallow water with a sand bottom. Big Pine is one of the best fishing lakes in Otter Tail County. You will find the west boat landing just a quarter mile down the road for quick and easy access to boating fun.
Our main floor consists of a well equipped kitchen as well as a family sized dining table that can expand for eight people. You will find a full bathroom with a tub and shower and a large sized living room with a wall mounted TV. The main floor bedroom has an abundance of natural light from three large windows, vaulted ceilings, and a queen sized bed. Off the sunroom, there is a flex space with a desk for work away from home and a full size futon for extra sleeping space.
Upstairs you will find another nicely sized living space and two more bedrooms. One of which has a queen bed and the other a full bed. The property does have independently controlled heating/cooling units for upstairs and down to ensure that everyone is comfortable.
Just off the dining room, a patio door will lead you to the covered porch complete with LED lighting, seating for a group, and a raised fire pit. Nearby, there is a large sandbox and a two story playhouse for kids to enjoy and explore. The garage is set up with fun for all!! You will find an air hockey table, foosball, two kayaks, and a paddle board.
Restaurants, bars, shopping, golf, parks, and even turtle races can be found within five miles of the Grandview Lake House!

Everything was well kept and clean. Plenty to do in the area and a great lake for fishing or recreation. Good communication, no surprises, no issues whatsoever.

We enjoyed our stay on Big Pine Lake. Super clean home, well appointed, great communication with the owner and a gorgeous view! The lake is so clear and we enjoyed kayaking and paddle-boarding.
