A wonderful home away from home that one should enjoy and respect.
The apartment was superb. The entrance was in a historic building with easy access. The living room had sofas and a dining area and the kitchen was of superior quality. The main bedroom had an en suite bathroom while the second bedroom had a separate facility opposite. The apartment was located in the quintessential heart of Lovere overlooking Piazza XIII Martiri (Thirteen Martyrs) di Lovere and it's fountain. A glass of wine on the balcony, the water view, the activity in the square below, what more could one ask for in a gorgeous apartment?
We could not find the entrance to the apartment. But this forced us to ask people for help. In the process we met people who were so remakarbly friendly that you felt right at home. So what is described as "What didn't you like" was an extraordinary feeling of belonging. A woman in a ladies dress shop came out of her shop to explain in Italian where we should go and the owner of the tabacchi a few feet away was most helpful to two stangers on so many levels. So, we loved even what we "didn't like".
