Our family loved staying here for the great location and lovely hot tub!

The location was great and the hot tub was so nice to soak in after walking around Volcano National Park. Check-in was super easy and the place was exactly as described. My son loved playing on the ukulele that was on display so much that we got him one later on our trip. This place was very safe to stay at since they are responsive to cleaning up after any tephra.

The only minor annoyance was the heating wasn't on a thermostat, so we had to manually manage the electric and gas heaters. While we loved the dehumidifier keeping the house pleasant, we thought it was a little loud when it kicked on during the night.

Relaxing and quiet place to stay after exploring volcanoes national park

Perfect location to explore volcanoes national park! Very clean and quiet. Super relaxing to sit in the hot tub after hiking the park.

With the exception of the mattress, the home was absolute perfection, private and easy to access

We all loved the lil hale, so much attention to detail, giving the home a genuine organic feel that is not easy to pull off with an air bnb. Fresh cut flowers, bidet, heated toilet seat, one of a kind lamps, old school board games, a ukulele, fireplace, precut wood, a sparkling clean hot tub. Personal touches by the host created a comfy stay.

I would highly suggest that the host replace the queen bed mattress. I’m sure through no fault of her own, she doesn’t realize that for old folks like me, a comfortable mattress is essential. We used the memory foam for the pull out sofa mattress. I only mention it bc with all the attention to detail and high standards, a decent mattress is essential so I’m making friendly suggestion.
