Nice cosy chalet will all necessary facilities. Plenty of heating for the chilly nights. Nice location. Milk and some snacks provided for my arrival. Helpful direct instructions from the owner plus met by the person responsible for maintaining the chalet. Easy walk to the beach.

The location is really good, a very short walk to the village shops, and just a bit further to the beach. It's a very quiet dedicated chalet park, well away from the road, surrounded by trees full of birds. Very tranquil indeed (until the man appears with his strimmer and lawn mower!). The chalet is small - I was there on my own, if I'd been there with someone else, we'd have been tripping over each other all the time, but if you want just a place to lay your head and are planning on being out all the day, it will be perfect. It may seem a frivolous thing to say, but I appreciated the taste that had gone into the chalet's decoration and furniture, and despite the small size, it didn't feel at all crowded with stuff. I have stayed places where every surface and shelf is covered in tacky ornaments and wooden cut-outs exhorting me to 'live, love,' etc so it was restful to be somewhere with minimal stuff, in good taste, leaving me enough space to put out all my stuff! Lovely big shower, and generous sized bathroom. Kitchen is a galley, but equipped just enough to cook meals with oven, microwave, toaster, etc. Bedroom is big enough for a double bed and a rack for clothes; a thoughtful touch was to have an electric blanket on the bed - much appreciated as the nights were very cold.

Unfortunately none of my devices would connect to the wifi. I found the wifi on my devices, put in the password provided, and they all said, 'Internet no connection'. No idea why. Luckily I have a Dongle, as I needed to work over the weekend and would have been in severe difficulties without it. There is an automatic light/fan in the shower which switches on with any movement in the kitchen and every time I went into the bathroom. This was particularly annoying at night, but the owner came and showed me how to switch it off if I needed to.

Nice clean chalet in a quiet location which is just a short walk to the beach, park and village. Easy car access to croma and other places.
