Cute, tastefully decorated converted wing of property bang in the centre of Beverley with excellent parking behind a gate. Nice outdoor patio area to sit in. Comfortable lounge (no curtains or blinds across large window/doors), useful kitchen. Upstairs two good double bedrooms with comfy beds.

Key wasn't in the key safe, called host who was apologetic when he arrived 25 mins later. Four in our party and only enough plates / cutlery/ cups etc for one apiece, which meant regular washing up. For that, a bowl would have helped. No outdoor dustbin for the property. Couldn't find terrestrial TV on the telly, although I expect it was there somewhere! Lots of CDs and DVDs on the bookshelves in the lounge, although there's no player for either so I expect they're just being stored there. A few tweaks would make it more of a holiday home and less a part of someone else's home.

Toilet seat doesn’t lay back enough, it hits the flush handle. Toilet roll holder is in the wrong place, too close the toilet and it’s gets knocked off. Rim of Toilet bowl needs cleaning. Shower surround very tight, curtain sticks to you. Dusty in places, cutlery not clean. The invasion of wasp was annoying. Had to plug the skirting boards which stop them. The outdoor seating was torn in one place and the cushion all need a good wash.

Great location, very friendly hosts. Good literature available regarding local attractions and amenities.

Nothing - everything was grand

Location and the private secure off street parking was a real bonus. Lovely lounge very warm and lots of books to read. The kitchen was small but functional with quality appliances although it didn’t have a dishwasher but no space for it. TV took a bit of mastering but with the help of the host was soon sorted.

The lighting in the bathroom was very dim and no lights over the basin, not a fan of shower curtains. Lack of a blind or curtain to the bathroom window was not to our taste. The glass ceiling lights in the 2nd bedroom were far too low and should be raised out of harms way.
