We had an absolutely perfect stay! The lodge is in a fantastic location, making it the ideal place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service. The entire team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfectly organized, and the attention to detail was remarkable. We highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. Thank you for making our stay so special—we would love to come back!

Two of us stayed in the "family" guest house so it was quite roomy. Very quiet - hardly knew there were other guests. It's maybe 15 a minute walk or 5 minute bike ride to the 'town' of Ohotu where (if you are up early) you can get a baguette or coconut bread every morning. We really appreciated having clotheslines to hang out our wet clothes every day. The snack shack practically next door had good burgers. There is a nice sea breeze all night and you can hear the surf so we had some great sleep. And there is a two person kayak to paddle around on the lagoon side ( 5 minute walk from the room)
Nothing.

The cottage looks quite nice at first glance and is a sufficient size for two people. The veranda is pleasant and a nice place to sit. The gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated being able to pay in US dollars. There is a washing machine available on the property, and laundry detergent is provided. The kitchen is basic but adequate for preparing simple breakfasts and sandwiches.
Unfortunately, there were many more negatives than positives. The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. There are only two fans, and one of them is so noisy that it sounds like a plane taking off. Sleeping was extremely difficult because of the heat. There are no mosquito screens on the windows and no mosquito net over the bed. Since the room becomes very hot, you need to keep the windows open, which allows mosquitoes to enter freely. We ended up covered in mosquito bites. Mosquito coils are provided, but they are only useful outside and cannot be used while sleeping. The bed frame is poorly designed, with wooden boards sticking out on all sides. To make matters worse, the mattress is about 20 cm narrower than the bed frame, leaving exposed wooden edges. After the first day, we were covered in bruises from bumping into the protruding boards. There is no real beach nearby. The shoreline consists mainly of grass, rocks, reef, and water. There is nowhere comfortable to sit or relax by the sea. The pillows were by far the worst part of our stay. They were extremely hard, thick, and overstuffed, making them impossible to sleep on. We experienced neck pain after only a short time. If you decide to stay here, bring your own pillow. Otherwise, expect very poor sleep quality. The bathroom lacks even the most basic storage. There are no shelves or cabinets, so all toiletries have to be kept on the floor. A single shelf would make a huge difference. Additionally, two electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work. Overall, despite the reasonable price, we would not stay here again, even if it were offered at a lower rate.
