Rubato Hotel Ulsan Junggu

Very clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpfull and experienced in using the translator on their phones - so a lack of Korean language skills was no problem. The location is not perfect, but a huge number of busses are stopping around 150m away from the hotel. Commuting into the inner city or to the KTX train stations or to the shuttle busses towards the airports in Busan or Ulsan was easy by bus. But it is also possible to walk within 25 minutes to central places such as UpSquare and Lotte. Free water bottles, coffe and instant ramen 24/7. The Wifi ws OK. The bed was good. The desk was big enough to work with notebook. The TV was huge.

The heating in the rooms was a bit too high. No problem to open a window to correct the temperature, but maybe not ideal from environmental perspective. Breakfast was OK for a couple of days. Cereals and ramen. The hotel does recycling, but the 2 bins are just confusing and it looks every guest interpreted it differently.

Room was clean and quiet. Check-in was quick. The comforter on the bed was very comfortable. I was very happy that it was possible to open the window to get fresh air. (Actually, there were two windows, presumably because two keeps things warmer in winter.) The temperature and the water pressure of the shower were great!

The area was perfect for someone with a car but rather dead in the evening. I arrived after 8 p.m. and was unable to find two restaurants I looked for. Fortunately, there was a convenience store about five minutes away, so I was able to put together something for dinner. Although there were very few people out on the streets and it was dark, because it was South Korea, I didn’t feel uneasy as a single woman.

Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig, sauber und auch komfortabel, wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, ist es sehr gut und man kann kostenlos Wäsche waschen

Very big rooms, nice big TV. Location was ok, a bus away from every thing. Nice river to run close by.

The staff were very rude at the front desk. They didn’t speak English (Not the issue), my partner was afraid to speak to them after they made it very clear every request was a burden.
