The property was really lovely. Pretty, nicely furnished with excellent amenities. The location was fantastic, little beach and park nearby plus still an easy walk into town. We brought our little dogs, and the yard was very secure. Street parking was plentiful plus we could park in the back yard. We had a wonderful time and would certainly stay again.
Nothing we didn’t like!

Beautiful home with period details. We didn’t lack for anything, very comfortable. Our group ranged in age from 11 to 78 and everyone loved it. Host was super friendly and very attentive, answering any questions very quickly before our stay.

I like the cleanliness of the the bedding/bathroom and living spaces.
I think the kitchen is missing some key items like plastic chopping boards, additional cleaning towels, spatulas(for frypans) and basic stuff like salt and pepper . I think the bathroom could use some more floor/shower mats and additional hand/face towels per guests.

Great location and lovely Edwardian home. Close to a local cafe with great coffee and a short walk to Rippleside Park and beach. The home was clean and tidy with an equipped kitchen and BBQ for cooking meals. Delicious peaches in the garden ripe for eating.
There wasn't clear information about completing security checks and deposits on the website After paying in full for my stay I received an email to advise the need to complete these two next steps. Requiring a copy of my photo ID and facial recognition check. There was no information about security deposit costs. I contacted the key contact Vicki who was lovely and tried to be helpful to be advised I could skip the facial recognition step and deposit was either $1 as most hotels do or a $30 waiver for $500 damages non refundable. I went back to complete and could not proceed without facial recognition step and then found the deposit appeared to be $500 returnable within 6 weeks or $60 one off waiver. I opted for the one off waiver and contacted Vicki again to advise difference in information. She assured me if I had selected the $500 option it would have only drawn $1 but there was no information on the site to suggest this. Given I was staying to attend an immediate family member's funeral I didn't have the emotional energy or funds to deal with all of this. I would have liked this information to be all upfront so there was less stress and surprises. The only other constructive criticism is that for the price of almost $1300 for two nights, I expected given it offered and promoted a fully functional kitchen that there would be some basic staples provided. Two tiny boxes of long life milk and half a dozen tea bags, coffee pods and a packet of biscuits for five people for three days was all that was offered. Maybe we are spoilt in Tasmania every stay we have enjoyed has had a few things in the pantry and fridge to avoid having to go straight to the grocery store. Oil, fresh milk, juice, butter, mini Vegemite and jam for breakfast for far less charge per night. It did however serve our needs in offering us a comfortable stay at a very sad time.
