One of the most luxurious residences in Pattaya, though the design is kitschy (gold everywhere). Excellent location in Jomtien Beach right next to the Russian night market (mainly Russians and Chinese in the residence). The residence has a total of 4 pools (incl. rooftop pool on 59th floor) and a big gym. The apartment has a washing machine.

Unfortunately, the apartment was not cleaned at all when I arrived. There was hair and dust everywhere. The person renting it out tried to deny this, but eventually confessed he didn’t have time to clean between checkouts. This is unacceptable. Honestly, there weren’t even any cleaning supplies at the apartment available (after complaining, he simply wiped the floor with wet wipes). Toilet paper was missing, but he did bring it after asking, and a glass cleaning product too. Hence, the stay did not feel prepared at all and I ended up washing the dirty sheets and cleaning the mirrors myself. The shower water runs cold. Beware that he asks you for a 3k deposit in cash which is not disclosed in advance nor in accordance with booking.com. Additionally, one should also be aware that actually it’s not allowed to rent an apartment on a daily or weekly basis in Thailand according to Hotel Act B.E. 2004. Posters for this are all over the residence. As the residence requires to register for a Face ID and fingerprints, the person renting it out is therefore registering guests as his “friend”. Overall, the Copacabana residence is probably the best in Pattaya in terms of facilities, but the price of this apartment is too high, especially for it to not be clean.
