Golden View Apartment 1

Het is een zeer ruim, schoon appartement met fijn terras (en grasveld), op een rustig gelegen plek (afgeschermd met een poort) waar je hoogstens wat autoverkeer van de beneden gelegen weg hoort. De steile oprit is even wennen maar geeft geen problemen. De woonkamer is zeer groot, met twee grote banken en eettafel. Ook de slaapkamer is ruim, met een prima bed. Daar staat ook de TV. De open keuken is goed, met als tip om een kleinere pan en steelpan bij te kopen. De badkamer is vergeleken met de rest van de ruimte en het comfort aan de kleine, eenvoudige kant, maar dat vonden we geen probleem. Vanaf het terras kun je door de bomen en langs de elektriciteitsmast de zee zien liggen, wat in de avond een mooie zonsondergang te zien kan geven. Het zonnige, overdekte terras met twee stoelen, een bank en schommelbank is daar perfect voor! Fijn dat er een wasmachine is. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en wonen er direct boven. Er zijn mooie stranden in de omgeving, en het is een goede uitvalsbasis om bijvoorbeeld naar Olympia te rijden en het prachtige achterland te verkennen.

Een heel klein puntje, was dat de wifi af en toe traag en dan weer snel was, mogelijk onvermijdelijk. Voor ons als Hollanders is het moeilijk om te zien dat de honden in een klein hok moeten leven- we zijn wel vriendjes met ze geworden door af en toe een kluifje door de tralies te geven ☺️

This was a great peaceful location overlooking the valley and sea below. Great for sunsets. The apartment is large and has a very nice patio. It had plenty of hot water, a well stocked kitchen, and a good mattress. The bathroom is small but is functional. There is a step up to get into the bathroom. There are good restaurants 10 minutes south or 10 minutes north of the property. The closest town is a 13 minute drive south and has several supermarkets, good bakeries, and a fish market. The archaeological ruins at Olympia is less than 30 minutes away. The beach is a five minute drive from the apartment.

Just a heads up, the driveway to the property is up a steep gravel road. Make sure you inform the property of your arrival time because it is gated.

Stunning view as it's situated on a hill and you get to see all of samiko all the way to the sea..breathtaking sunsets with pink clouds made me take a tun of pictures.. Actual place is brand new, bright but has shutters to make it dark also if you don't want all that natural light, air conditioner, beautifully decorated ,spacious clean lots of storage and a big super comfy bed pillows etc... landscaped and you can truly see how well the property is taken care of. Gated with your own remote access. Super quiet and private all you can hear is the cicadas. Owners gave us homemade wine, coffee, olive oil upon arrival and some drinks in the fridge.. super hospitable and friendly. I would Def recommend this place as it's a hidden gem I booked on a whim not expecting too much and to mt surprise it was the best place out of the 5 places I stayed in greece during my trip this summer.. There is a gas stn at the bottom of the hill that's been converted into a tavern type place that serves different foods daily , coffees, beer drinks snacks (super nice owner) to which they will gladly deliver anything you need really which they're open from 6am to 11 pm I believe or otherwise theres shops a couple min from there based on what you need..

I didn't like that I had to leave.. lol.. not one thing I can think of that I didn't like. This place will not disappoint.

Un apartament cochet, mare, într-o locație cu o vedere spectaculoasă spre mare! Un dormitor mare, un spațiu de zi și loc de luat masa perfect pentru o familie de 3-4 persoane și o terasă unde poți savura un pahar de vin sau bere, în liniște, având marea în fundal... Iar apusul se vede fantastic chiar din confortul terasei! Baie este mai mare decât cele "clasice" din Grecia, cu un spațiu generos dedicat dușului! Mașina de spălat haine s-a dovedit a fi foarte utilă! Să nu uit să menționez grătarul din curte!😁 Iar gazdele au fost extraordinare, foarte amabili și prietenoși, disponibili pentru orice informație sau solicitare!

Nu pot spune că e ceva ce nu mi-a plăcut (și nu e legat neapărat de apartament) dar trebuie menționat accesul spre proprietate, care este destul de abrupt... Pe o distanță de 250-300 metri lungime ai o diferență de nivel de 40-45 de metri! O pantă de aproximativ 15%! Un alt aspect, de care e bine să țineți cont, este că aveți nevoie de mașină pentru orice deplasare, locația fiind pe deal, oarecum izolată (pentru noi a fost exact ce căutam). Nu este o zonă dezvoltată turistic, deci până la prima tavernă bună aveți de mers 6-7 km! Dar plaja imensă, marea și soarele merită orice efort!
