We loved Oaxaca. It was a great place to explore. The hotel was centrally located and comfortable.

Breakfast was good but wish it could have started at 7:00. Two days we had to leave early for excursions and had to rush breakfast. If you could create a little buffet of rolls, coffee, fruit then people could grab something or order from the menu also.

The room was beautiful, the bed and shower were both super big. Staff was very nice.

The NOISE -from the outside (loud music from various bars - especially on Fri/Sat night) - from the patio (no soundproofing on door, we could hear people talking when they entered/stayed in the patio) Also I booked a room with a "balcony," specifically because I wanted to be on the second floor but we stayed in a room on the 1st floor/ground floor... I guess their definition of a "balcony" differs from mine. Overall, even if the room was great, I think it's a bit too expensive for such a noisy location.

The location could not have been better. Walking distance to just about everything. Many, many great restaurants which were easy to get into (even without reservations). Very easy to get a taxi and the hotel attendants helped with that. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome. The only thing I would have liked was a frig in the room,

Prime location to the village, interior design and layout very warm, authentic and hospitable. The cooked to order breakfast was particularly wonderful, as opposed to a hotel buffet, and the option of pre-ordering the night before to have it prepared at the time you selected……perfect. Suite room was very generous, and frankly got us a bit spoiled compared to the typical corporate rooms/sites we frequent.

Minor thing, though pivotal for those turning in at 10:00-11:00. The acoustics of the interior courtyard are such that any activity tends to amplify the sounds/voices unto the rooms facing said space. A simple and courteous suggestion would be a noise curfew beginning at 10:00 p.m. A free standing sign of sorts, gently reminding all guests and staff, to keep any noise/sounds to a minimum would be very helpful.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Oaxaca close by shops, eateries, the market, churches, etc (5-10 minute walk). Think of Zen when you stay here. The minute you walk in you’ll experience the sweet smell of aromatherapy and welcoming staff. The rooms are quiet, tranquil and clean. Our stay came with a daily breakfast and the staff reached out to us the day before to confirm our breakfast orders and what time we would like them ready.

Nice bedroom and located in centre of city

You can hear a nearby nightclub's music until the middle of the night thudding through the walls. We didn't get much communication when we arrived (ie. Didn't know about breakfast). Some little flies in the bathroom that kept coming back. No windows in room so feels a bit dingy

We had a restful and fun ten days.

The location was perfect for walking anywhere in the center of Oaxaca city. The hotel felt safe and is beautifully appointed. Breakfasts were convenient and graciously served. Our room was comfortable and the temperature easy to control. The lighting design in the room and bath was excellent.

I would have liked to have more comfortable places to sit outside the room and in the room. Our room was small and so seating was usually on the bed. Our room didn't have an outside window, and if I were to come back I would make sure I had an outside window. I would have also liked to have the option to get a cappuccino for breakfast.

Marvelous, comfortable place, very hospitable staff.

From the friendly, almost friendship-like initial reception to the farewell very early in the morning, this was a memorable stay in the most positive sense. Attentive and caring team, including everyone from the cleaning ladies via the kitchen staff to the reception team. Amazing room in a fantastically restored historical building. The ear plugs provided at each bed were not necessary at all. Breakfast was wonderful. I basically enjoyed every moment at this place and will certainly go back if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city center. Nice restaurants and shops nearby. The daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel lobby and rooms were very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower was great! Warm water was nice.

There were no windows to the outside, but this style of building is like that so it wasn't really a major issue. The room was not very big but we were not there too much, only to sleep, really.

A calm and beautiful oasis in the heart of Oaxaca centro

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Oaxaca. Upon entering it smells divine and it’s inviting and calm. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Bed is big, clean & so comfortable, bathrooms are also very clean and roomy. We had ample space for a crib which they had ready for us upon arrival. The staff is very friendly and they go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We would stay here again without a doubt!

Lovely, clean hotel in the heart of Oaxaca

A lovely, clean hotel in the heart of Oaxaca Historical Center. It was very close to a small corner store, artisan store and the tourist street. Everything was within a 10-12 min walk. The hotel itself was very aesthetic, the rooms were massive and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel, like any other hotel in Oaxaca (we've been here 3 times now), can be a bit loud, but it wasn't an issue for us. The hotel provided ear plugs, which I didn't need. My room didn't give on to the street, which might have helped. My co-traveller's room did give onto the street and may have been a bit louder, but both of them also said it wasn't that bad. Considering the price, location, and amenities, this was our favourite hotel so far. All the staff were absolutely lovely, and willing to help. I would stay here again anytime.

Location is amazing, staff were fantastic!

The staff were tremendous and went above and beyond to make my partner and I feel so special - they were very proactive and responsive, assisted us with a great recommendation for local laundry, as well as helped to schedule a car to bring us to the airport. Sauve Casa Boutique is in a perfect location, in the center of Oaxaca- just footsteps from amazing restaurants, bars, cafes, a beautiful church and central square. The breakfast was delicious and we looked forward to trying all the different menu options each day. 5 stars, would stay again in a heartbeat!

La ubicación del hotel es extraordinaria, todo queda caminando a 10 min de Santo Domingo y 10 del Zocalo, y está pegado al paseo peatonal. El hotel es moderno y muy bonito. El desayuno está rico y variado.

En la noche de fin de semana se escucho mucho ruido de alguna fiesta hasta la madrugada. La limpieza del cuarto fue regular, comenté la situación fue solucionada a la perfección.

No hubo internet en toda la estancia. Eran fechas complicadas para solucionarlo. Creemos que se puede hacer algo más por el ruido. Se podrían poner dobles ventanas. Se escucha todo, desde la discoteca de al lado, la licuadora de la mañana etc. Dejan tapones pero no es suficiente.

El personal amable y el desayuno muy variado y sabroso. Muy buena ubicación, muy cerca del zócalo y de lugares importantes. La habitación espaciosa y porque estabamos a la orilla de calle, nos proporcionaron tapones para no escuchar ruidos. Además la habitación tenía 2 vidrios bien gruesos que no permitía el ruido. Excelente hotel.
