Beautiful penthouse, sun terrace, jacuzzi GOSLM-8

L'emplacement est vraiment top ! Supermarché à proximité, les bateaux pour aller à La Valetta, les commerces, il y a tout à distance de marche raisonnable. La terrasse est grande et hyper agréable le soir, on peut profiter du jacuzzi avec le coucher du soleil. A 4, on pouvait laisser le canapé déplié sans que ça gène la circulation. La surface de l'appartement est vraiment bien pour 4 personnes. Appartement vraiment silencieux au 7ème étage (ascenseur jusqu'au 6ème) coté cour.

Le jacuzzi n'avait pas été mis en fonctionnement avant notre arrivée (il était à 17°). Nous l'avons allumé vers 17h et il est arrivé à la bonne température seulement le lendemain matin. Heureusement que nous avions loué pour 1 semaine, sinon nous n'aurions pas pu l'utiliser. De plus, il faut le surveiller tous les jours car il ne met en sécurité. Aussi, le clim/chauffage ne fonctionnait ni dans le salon, ni dans la chambre. L'appartement était humide quand on rentrait alors on voulait assécher l'air mais impossible. Nous l'avons signalé, un technicien devait venir, personne n'est venu malgré les relances. Du coup, nous laissions les fenêtres ouvertes en journée. Ce qu'il serait bien d'ajouter : des bols, un saladier, et des couverts en plus car c'est un peu juste vu qu'il y a un lave-vaisselle. Ca serait top d'ajouter un store occultant sur la fenêtre de la cuisine car il fait vraiment jour dans la pièce pour ceux qui dorment dans le canapé-lit.

Superbe appartement bien agencé et bien situé. Terrasse super bien située et magnifique. Cuisine équipée, lave-linge et lave-vaisselle sont un plus, literie confortable, bref nous reviendrons.

The flat was clean, recently decorated, and looked as shown on the photos. It was super quiet in the flat but only a few minutes walk of some good bars and restaurants. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. It took a day to get up to temperature but it was January when we visited so probably less of an issue in the warmer months, after warming up the hot tub worked well. The agent was quick to respond to any questions we had.

The lock to the main door is a bit awkward, but there is a knack to using the lock and we think the info for guests should explain how to position the key. The patio doors do not slide easily and are in need of maintenance, we let the agent know about this and they said they’d look into it.

The location of the property was great, quiet at night, lidl and other shops/restaurants etc very close by and great location for the marathon finish.

The hot tub did not get hot enough to use - previous reviews confirm the same, whilst the terrace was lovely to sit on, having the hot tub to use was the main reason to book this place. The main door lock is faulty as per previous reviews, it took us 40 mins to get in not great at 1am after a day of travelling. The host was responsive and had sorted us an alternative place to stay but given this has been previously mentioned in reviews it doesn’t appear that anything has been done about these issues. Where the buzzer should be there was just open wires hanging out the wall.
