Deer Houses Cabuya

Quiet (except for the monkeys!), well located near the reserve, beautiful lodging with all the features we could have desired (even a well stocked kitchen!). We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone we knew.

If you like nature and peace and quiet, come here. If you like bars, restaurants and activity, don’t come here and leave it for the rest of us! The location is 5 mins walk to the gate of the National Reserve and 15/20 mins to the office and start of the walks. We did the longer walk to the beach, were first on the trail and saw coatis, monkeys, an ant eater, deer and a turkey (great Carasaw). We had white faced monkeys visit our studio balcony, peering in the window at us, and heard howler monkeys in the forest. The bed is enormous and very comfortable. The kitchen is excellent - everything you need. The shower was spacious and hot ( if you wanted it!) and the air con was marvellous. Beautiful fresh flowers from the property in the bathroom. The owner was very flexible about us staying an extra night. It was great to use the washing machine to get some clean clothes! Thanks so much for the stay!!

Super accueil et communication. On se sent seuls au milieu de la forêt. On y a vue pleins d’animaux quel plaisir de savourer son café sur la terrasse le matin en observant les oiseaux, singes, biches . . .
