YCH-Modern flat with terrace near Eataly

This is a beautiful 5th floor apartment with a great terrace and a great view. The bed was super-comfortable. The entry fob and door key were easy to use and somebody met me at the apartment to explain everything.

For some reason, it took ages to get hot water. However, the shower was great once you ensured that hot water was available. There were small issues, such as the bathroom sink not holding water and some pretty terrible cooking pots, cutlery and cups. Flat rentals can roughly be divided into 2 types: those that provide you with the basics, so you can (for instance) make a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive, and those that force you to make an inventory of what you need and go shopping first. This was the second type; a bit of salt, sugar and olive oil would have been appreciated. Any flat that provides a coffee machine should absolutely provide a few coffee pods to start with.

Modern flat, clean and close to where I grew up so very familiar with the area, which was a plus for me and my family. Great terrace, very useful to spend some time after a long day sightseeing. Also if you have kids there is a great playground just down the building.

Appartamento comodo, pulito, dotato di tutto. Vicinanza da fermate e stazioni di mezzi pubblici, sia bus che treno o metro. Quartiere tranquillo. Ottima trattoria-bistrot proprio sotto casa e a poca distanza una pasticceria-bar, aperta sette giorni su sette, con sfogliati di alto livello.

Peccato per poche accortezze di basso costo, ma mancanti: qualche capsula e bustine per il caffè è te, stante la presenza di bollitore-teiera e macchina da caffé. Un paio di bottiglie di acqua.
