Good location, carefully thought out space. Everything we needed

People with limited mobility should be aware it is in the fourth floor with no lift

Good location for access to the city centre. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was welcome given the hotter weather. Fatia responded very quickly if/when we had questions.

The listing doesn't make it clear that there are 98 steps to the fourth floor apartment; carrying two large suitcases and ancillary bags was quite hard especially for those of us of more advanced years. The listing contains many photos some of which give a misleading impression, eg photo of a grey sofa with large table and four chairs whereas in reality there is no sofa and a small table with two chairs in the corner of the bedroom. Some other issues include the listing states Inner courtyard view and City view but in reality there's a roof skylight window through which we could only really see the sky as it was too high up. The listing states washing machine, tumble drier and oven (separate from microwave) but we couldn't find any of them. Also, there isn't really a kitchen area - it's actually a shelved cupboard above the fridge and the only sink is the washbasin in the small shower room. We found the shower to be very small and the overhead shower head didn't really work making it difficult to shower properly; showers had to be quick as there was a note explaining about the shortage of hot water availability. Lastly, we received many confusing messages from the automated booking system. __________ EDIT in response to some of the comments from the property Thank you for replying. I think you're mixing us up with someone else - we're a couple from the UK and not "Australian gentlemen". It would be preferable if the listing noted that it's on the fourth floor at the top of 98 steps. It would seem preferable if the listing states laundry facilities can be accessed from outside the apartment instead of asking via WhatsApp. We followed the extensive instructions on using the air-conditioning units so don't really understand your comments about the temperature being 16c.

Location was fabulous! The room was very cute, and was equipped with a lot of fun tech if you have the time to experience it all and figure it all out. Hosts were also super responsive! Fatia did not speak English, but she was so incredibly sweet. She helped us find the key to the place, and she also let us store our luggage in a safe space for almost the whole day.

I think there was TOO MUCH information. There were so many whatsapp messages and booking.com messages which was as helpful as it was overwhelming. Some of the links had outdated information. Finding the keys was a challenge because there were 3 different sets of instructions provided - two were outdated, and the current one was hard to find. Also, I think the listing said no elevator, but we didn't think we would have to climb 4 flights with our massive suitcases!! The entrance to the room is also very small - we hardly fit our bags through. The room had a lot of fun tech, but it was hard to figure out how to use it. Again, the instructions were overwhelming and some outdated.

Four flights of stairs were very hard with multiple luggage, as I had sustained a few injuries since booking. To be expected in an older building, but something to take into account when comparing. The laundry was helpful but very cramped. We could live without the mirror wall paper above the bed. The host lady was very helpful and the location was fairly good. Every product for bathroom and cleaning was available (although the shower was hobbit-sized). The coffee machine was not great, but there were some basic snacks which helped when we arrived with no food. A hundred long messages became too much and several instructional printed notes all over the walls could easily be replaced with a webpage with instructional sections clearly outlined.
