About this house rental
Come unplug in nature at a private lake house get away on the top of a mountain! This is the only house on this lake, and borders hundreds of acres of state land. With a full kitchen, bathroom, two spacious bedrooms and two living rooms, you'll be sure to love this cozy retreat. Enjoy the large yard and deck area with friends and family and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Acess to two lakes and a short 10 minute drive to the town of Pawling.

I stayed here for a few days in May with my younger brother while visiting with my older brother and family. Breakfast on the back porch overlooking the lake was so peaceful! The house comes with boats and fishing poles and other sporting equipment. Davis, the property manager, was awesome. He offered to set up the boats for us, or to move them to the lake across the street that has a dock. We had an issue with the water pressure, and he was there within 10 minutes to change out a filter to fix the issue. The "Dover Tree" and access to the Appalachian Trail are less than 10 minutes away and we took advantage of that to hike up to cat rock. The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Pawling.
