We arrived, there was a homeless person sleeping at the unlocked entry gate. We thought we would still give it a try - this was for a vacation trip with family to comic con. We were told transportation was close, we had to walk 4 blocks to the trolly station entirely on the street, due to the amount of homeless on the sidewalk. The whole place smelled like pee. We had to walk around a person shooting up on the sidewalk. A man yelled obscenities at my daughter and followed us. I called to complain that we could not relax and stay at this place - not safe, not walkable, I cryed. After looking at google maps, the help line person agreed it was bad and told me they would contact the host and help me relocate. They could not get ahold of the host. We took an uber back, moved to two new hotels due to unavailability of a large enough place for the whole family. It cost about 5k, had to pay out of pocket to cover, eliminating all of my trip money plus more. This wrecked our whole trip. I was told that they would esclate my refund. I still have not received any money back. In my opinion as well as every member of my family, they should not have this house as a listing. The host has not responded to my numerous messages for a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. I am so sad for this experience. This wa the first family trip that we have taken in 10 years, and this completely wrecked it. We did not get any help relocating from expedia or verbo, we did not get a discount or assistance.

We went for three days to see San Diego city but our main focus was SeaWorld.this house is like in the heart of the city,I mean you can get any where with in minutes really great location.the owner also nice guy easy to communicate any time.so our stay in that house was smooth and cozy.if I go back to San Diego I would book it again definitely.
