It's a big pity the place does not have a lift - and I guess that wouldn't be on the cards to install it. I don't think it is suitable for people with mobility impairments and you would need to be fit after a day out to get up 4 flights of stairs.
The shower needs some sort of mat so that it is safe to use as the shower floor is very slippy when wet and could cause a fall quite easily.
It would be handy to have a manual to work the TV for the odd night you might like to stay in. I hadn't a clue of Portuguese when I turned it on so didn't know what to do.
Also, you mentioned putting out rubbish before leaving - but failed to say where the nearest bin collection disposal point was.
