About this house rental
We welcome you and your family to enjoy a weekend or mini-break in our stylish Kirkwood Craftsman home. Why stay at a hotel when you can live like a local, cook in a clean and well-stocked kitchen, pack less because you can do your laundry, and walk to restaurants. We like heading to Evergreen for fresh bread and pastries or Genes, which is a new BBQ place around the corner with amazing brisket and fun decor.
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home will be just the right amount of space to settle in for a comfortable stay. Sit on our large front porch or make a cozy fire in our chiminea in the lush backyard and entertaining space. In the summer, we have great, super cold A/C. In the fall and winter, we have a cozy fireplace and powerful heating.
Having traveled the world, we think we have great taste in linens and blankets, so you will have no excuse not to nap and sleep well in our home. Our master has fantastic velvet blackout curtains and a Tempur-Pedic king, stay-cool mattress. The other two bedrooms have very comfortable queen sized beds. Our bathrooms were renovated two years ago and the water pressure is on point.
You will enjoy very easy, safe street parking. We are >15 miles from the ATL airport, >8 mi from Midtown, >5 mi to Ponce City Market. There's no need to drive much from our home to have fun, shop, or explore.
We are highly communicative and responsive hosts who live to travel. When you book our home, we will be out traveling or at our second home in the country. We stayed at this property to be close to family in Decatur for a full weekend of events: recital, graduation, being together. The house was clean and well-appointed. The sheets were the softest I've ever slept on. Good water pressure in the shower. Lovely front porch on which to sit and enjoy coffee. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.
