The home is located on an island and is accessible only by a car ferry service or by your own boat, thus ensuring an exclusive and peaceful environment. The home features three bedrooms with a total of four queen beds and two full bathrooms, providing comfortable accommodations for up to six guests. There is also an outdoor "Surf" shower with hot and cold water. Amenities include an outdoor grilling station downstairs with your choice of either propane or an "old school" Weber charcoal grill. Charcoal and supplies included.
Nestled on a serene canal with direct ocean and gulf access, the home offers the convenience of a private dock for your boat. While there is no pool, the close proximity to the beach makes up for it. The beach is literally just a short 5-minute walk away! Make the most of your beach days with the host provided beach chairs and umbrellas stocked in a big wheel beach wagon for easier transport. Or explore the island on bicycles of assorted sizes, kayaks and paddle boards. The host recommends you always wear a provided life jacket when kayaking or paddle boarding and to keep a watch for the wild life! Enjoy the morning stillness or the sunsets on a screened back porch with a tranquil view of the canal. The back porch is perfect for relaxing with your favorite beverage and book or dining with friends and family. Speaking of books, the island also boasts several "little free libraries" that are frequently restocked with reader donations. We’ve been coming to the island for years and this house is by far the best one we’ve stayed at! Plenty of space, clean, had everything we could possibly need, and we were able to tie our boat up at the dock right behind the house. Will be staying here again next summer.
