About this cabin rental
Conveniently located within a scenic wooded area, Beara Beara is a short 5-minute drive to Unicoi State Park/Anna Ruby Falls and less than 10 minutes to downtown Helen. With its primary suite on the main level, a daybed/trundle in the loft, and a separate entrance to the basement studio apartment, separate sleeping areas provide privacy for our guests.
Arrival:
Beara Beara is easy to access and situated off of gravel roads in the private cabin community of Chimney Shadows. As you pull around the circular driveway with plenty of parking, you can begin your vacation by listening to the sounds of nature while seated in the rocking chairs or the bench swing.
Entering Beara Beara:
As you make your way into the cabin, the family room with a wood-burning stove (wood is provided) welcomes you with plenty of comfortable seating. The coffee table stores card games and puzzles on one side and extra blankets on the other. The guest book and remote control can be found on top. The Smart TV offers Netflix, Prime, and more and is mounted above the Dual Keurig K-Duo® Special Edition Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker. A sampling of coffee, tea, sweeteners, and sourwood honey from local beekeepers, Honey of a Diehl, will be provided.
Just steps away with easy access, the dining area, (set for four, but seats six: two additional chairs are in the primary suite's closet), will be a comfortable place for guests to gather to eat, work on puzzles, and play games. The matching dishes, silverware, and tumbler drinking classes in a variety of sizes are provided for your convenience.
The nearby pantry is available for your dry goods while the refrigerator will accommodate the remaining items necessary for food preparation. The water on the main level is safe for drinking; it is filtered water!
The kitchen is stocked with basic supplies and essential cooking equipment. The four-burner range/oven and microwave should meet all the cooking preparation needs of our guests. Salt, pepper, and cooking oil are provided.
The main level bathroom has a tub/shower combo and can be accessed from the kitchen as well as the primary suite, which has a queen bed, a walk-in closet, a dresser, a hamper, a Smart TV, and a USB power adapter.
Accessed from the indoor stairs, the sleeping loft has a comfy daybed with a trundle bed, a dresser, a hanging rack, a luggage rack, a USB power adapter, two Lovesac Squattomans, and a storage table filled with coloring books, crayons, and more!
Returning to the main level, you can exit the back door to the covered deck. Prepare dinner on the Weber gas grill or just lounge around the gas fire pit table while sipping a cup of coffee or wine. Either way, the time of day and weather is of no concern. Just relax on the covered deck and take in the canopy of trees surrounding you that provide the ambiance you desire for your stay.
The outdoor stairs will lead you to the terrace-level studio apartment, THE BEARS’ DEN. It has a queen bed with a built-in charging station and outlet, bathroom with a large shower/glass door, washer and dryer, seating area with a Smart TV, kitchenette (sink, refrigerator, Keurig with a sampling of K-Cups, sweeteners, creamer and more, and a microwave), matching dishes, glasses, and silverware for two, dining/gaming area for two at the bar height table, a Ms. PAC-MAN arcade table with additional arcade games, and plenty of board games. Additionally, the Corn Hole boards and bags can be found in the laundry room and can be set up for all to enjoy under the covered deck space.

This is a fantastic home in a great wooded area. The home was well equipped and felt like home. Everything from front door to back porch was just perfect and welcoming. If you ever have the opportunity to stay near Helen, GA this is the place to stay.

We had an amazing time on vacation. Everything you could need was available in the cabin. It was perfect for our family. Our younger son, 15, took the loft and our older son and friend took the lower level. The stairwell from the main level to the lower level was outside off the back deck but never posed an issue. The arcade and board games are a perfect addition for all families. The washer and dryer worked flawlessly and helped to stay ahead of piles of clothes returning home after a week. Helen tubing was close by along with the Georgia mountain coaster, horseback riding, North Georgia Safari Park, zip lining and many other activities aren’t far away. Anna Ruby Falls was only about 10 minutes away to include the state park at the lake. We watched movies nightly through Netflix and sat by the fire with the provided fire wood.Truly our best trip yet and we’ve done several to Georgia. Loved it!

The cabin was great! Beds were comfy and it was clean and well stocked! They went the extra mile to give more than starter supplies and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a problem with the remote for the TV in the master bedroom and the host responded immediately and offered to get a new one the next day. The phone service in this area was a little sketchy, but we entered our GPS before we left the cabin and that usually worked.The second bedroom was in the downstairs which was a separate entrance, so may not work with small children. The downstairs had been recently renovated and was beautiful and even had a game arcade. We had fun playing pac man. There is a loft, which was so inviting, but did have steep stairs. The porches were so peaceful to sit on and relax! Beara Beara was a delightful place to stay!
