Peaceful and comfortable room with terrific 'pub' energy if you feel like company.

Our room was comfortable and peaceful, but we enjoyed being in a pub. with a bar and restaurant immediately to hand. The locals were friendly and convivial and we enjoyed the energy boost of having some other people about. We had a meal featuring traditional German dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Country hotel in a city

The hotel was fairly quiet we barely ever heard anyone else. It was kind of out of town so not many random people just walking around the hotel making it feel very safe. They had a wonderful restaurant downstairs that was perfect for an easy, delicous, and inexpensive meal. The hotel is located on the bus line and there is a stop right outside the hotel if you need it.

The room was small barely enough room to open the door all the way or open the closet without hitting the bed. The bed was very springy and not very comfortable. They had down pillows that were very big but barely had any filling in them.The hotel is out of town if you don't have a car and your just walking it's a bit of a hike uphill. The hotel is super close to the road so if you open the window for air you hear all the cars and the road is active so it's a constant sound.

Everything is Good. A little bit further away. 35 minutes from the university by walking. Buses once an hour on weekdays.

Unfortunately the windows do not block completely the outside noise, so being next to a busy road was problematic. It is at least a 25 minute walk to the center of town, which was also inconvenient.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The accommodation bit outside of city centre, but surrounded with forest where one can go for nice walks and hiking.

Good location. Third generation family run hotel.. Had all i needed , comfortable, clean ,tidy and quiet area! The bathroom was good and all was working. Ample parking and easy to find the hotel. Breakfast was filling and worth paying for! Easy and convenient comfortable stay , would stay again

We travel on a budget and were very pleased to find this hotel in our price range.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived on our bicycles and there was a place to securely lock up our bikes. We had a delicious supper. It is so convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel.
