    While the wild wind blew and the clouds let loose we spent the afternoon snug and warm inside, sipping on hot chocolate, looking out to sea. Like others have said, bring your dinner and breakfast with you because you're on retreat from the rest of the world.

    Best sleep I've had in NZ! Was it the sound of real ocean waves? The comfy bed? The well equipped kitchen? All of it. Make sure you bring your own food as there aren't any stores and the restaurant closest isn't always open. The microwave, 2 burners & kettle worked great. Nice coffee & tea. Really wish we had booked a longer stay. If you need a place to chillax & walk on a gorgeous beach, this is the place!
