This was my second time visiting Ocean Creast and will not be my last. The restaurant is excellent and the staff knowledgable. Unfortunately the Spa building is closed for construction. Highly recommend heading out left from parking lot for beach access and many many sand dollar opportunities. Dogs love this place.

My wife and I hunt grouse and dig razor clams often. Ocean Crest is close to all of this as well as Seabrook's places to eat. 30 years ago the Ocean Crest was an active "Resort" with a Spa. The Spa is "closed for renovations", and both my wife and I felt that these services would never return.
For what we were looking for, a place to lay our heads, the Ocean Crest was fine because of the price. Two nights for $75 per night plus tax. The room we had, above the check in desk, up a steep set of stairs was a studio for that money. It was dated, and the room floor slopped several inches from door to front of room. So much so we asked about the structural integrity of the building. The paint job was awful, the nightstands were beat up, but the bed was decent which was all we were really interested in.
The building didn't collapse, which was a bonus! There is a very small TV, no minifridge, no microwave... but there are two, what appeared to be well worn robes (available for purchase at $89 in the lobby). If you are looking for a really nice place to stay, this isn't it. If you are looking for inexpensive accommodations, this may be the ticket. Oh, they still have a dinning room, but we didn't partake, and two different groups told us to stay away from taking the stairs down to the beach. One said the 150 stairs seemed like a million! There were far more expensive rooms available, and perhaps they were better, but the inexpensive rooms were pretty sad unfortunately.
