I did not think breakfast was included? we left at 7 am every morning and had breakfast at the event we were attending.

As we travelled during a heatwave, air conditioning would have been very welcome. But of course i knew it was not offered in the first place. We managed with the fan provided, The staff also kindly provided an ice bucket so we could have cold drinks at night.

Everything was going well upon arrival. The pub downstairs was calm and cozy. The staff was friendly. When they took my upstairs to the room, I was pleasantly surprised with the refurbished quality, space, very nicely decorated room, and an excellent shower and toilet. This was beyond what I had expected from a pub accomodation. The bed was a bit underwhelming and the heatwave didn't help me sleep comfortably. They did provide a tall fan which helped. I had to open the window, which caused a lot of noise of flights early morning, but in a slightly better weather (where you can keep the windows closed) this would be excellent place to spend a night or two.

Everything was going well until someone hit my car in the parking. They don't have cctv installed in the carpark itself. It's there at the owner's house across the road. I didn't inform the owner, who did try to check cctv, but came back saying he didn't find anyone getting near my car, which I found very strange as the scratches were fresh with a white car hitting mine. Extremely frustrating and disappointing evening and night as I couldn't obtain insurance details of the culprit and now have to live with the damage till I figure out what to do as if I use my insurance it would cost me excess as well as a premium hike. I tried to message the owner again, but he came back saying he couldn't find the culprit and rather suggested the incident might have happened elsewhere. But I am certain it happened in the car park as I would've noticed such a big damage to my car before arriving or even as I parked there upon arrival.
