JFam Suites - 1 Bedroom Unit

The location was great and apartment was a good size

There are a lot of necessary items missing in the kitchen ( like not enough plates and utensils , no dish drainer , no can opener , cooking pots are not good , they were thin and burnt , cooking utensils were broken and only 2 pcs , no kitchen towels , we have to buy our own to use for drying dishes and drying counter , no pot holders , these are few but there’s others we just made do ) They only give you one pillow per person and a blanket and towel , I guess this is standard in the Philippines . But the towels were brand new so when we used it lint from towels attached to your body when drying yourself . These should have been washed before giving to guest . The biggest issue was the roaches , they were every where . We told them and asked for a spray but instead they were going to send an exterminator 4 days after we check in but this is not good as we have things schduled and we dont want to inhale all the fumes afterward . So we bought a spray and just sprayed as we see them . Other than that the place is comfortable

I love the unit and the location

The room is spacious for a family of 4. We have enjoyed our stay here especially the access to pool the next day.

For a 1BR unit, the bedroom itself was spacious. The kitchen has the elements you need for cooking. Some books were available for reading. Again, spacious unit and excellent for family/friends gathering. Place is near convenience store and the mall.

Guests who value flexibility and hospitality may want to be prepared for potential hiccups along the way. Host has this cash-grabbing tendency. The unit was fine but I never felt such an overly transactional treatment from a host. Is this how Filipinos treat their guests? We arrived about an hour before the official checkin time. Unit was ready. But we were asked to pay an additional fee to enter early. Like seriously. We're already there and I dont see any inconvenience from their end for us to be allowed in. And yet they were asking us cash. It was also difficult to invite visitors (not sleeping) and requires very strict identification to be allowed in. Guests should be prepared for that. There was this incident where we broke one wine glass. We were charged Php200 during checkout. Amount is not huge. But together with the early checkin charge, it gave the impression that every small situation was treated as an opportunity for an extra fee rather than guest consideration. Other comments: noisy road just outside with the trikes and motorbikes as the main culprit. this goes on through the evening. Cockroach reviews are real! You leave the dining area for 10 mins, you come back with these creatures crawling on the table.
