Things I like: The price-to-space ratio is unbeatable for a last-minute weekend fallback plan from the Shonan / Fujisawa area if you are visiting Kamakura Koko-mae or Enoshima. The room was reasonably spacious compared to standard business hotels in Fujisawa or Yokohama. The WiFi in my room worked perfectly fine as well. As a side note, if you have an anthropologist's eye, the lobby provides an unfiltered look into the operational reality of the local Japanese community, functioning primarily as a venue for regional clan gatherings, weddings, and holiday banquets. Things I don't like: The hotel is very far from the train station. Anyone looking to book should seriously take note of this distance before confirming their reservation. It would be significantly better if the hotel could provide a shuttle-on-demand or a regular shuttle service for guests. The overall vibe is heavily geared towards local family gatherings rather than international tourist hospitality. Furthermore, as an East Asian tourist who loves Japanese fami-resu (family restaurants) like Saizeriya or Gusto, the immediate neighborhood is quite inconvenient—walking to the nearest fami-resu will easily take you 20 minutes.
