T4 Castries - 3 chambres - Terrasse - Clim - Montpellier 15 min

A really nice and spacious and well equipped 3 bedroomed apartment in a great location. The kitchen is generally well equipped (although more than 1 cooking pan is really needed) with good quality appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer) and there is a Dolce Gusto coffee machine (although this was leaking). There are air con units in the main room and 2 of the bedrooms (although one was dripping water during our stay). The apartment is off a courtyard up a flight of stairs. There is somebody in the apartment above, so there is some noise but nothing you would not expect. And it is in a very quiet part of the town. The listing on booking.com does state that there is no additional charges for pets. I think this is possibly a mistake as after our stay the host said for our dog to stay it was an additional 39€. So I would double check this with the host before your stay. The WiFi is very good and there is an excellent smart TV. Castries itself is a lovely little town and there is a very good Carrefour supermarket just a short walk away.

We had a problem with the onsite parking. A neighbour told us politely we could not park in the courtyard in front of the apartment, so we had to move the car to the street around the corner. We took this up with the host and he said he would look into it and get back to us, he did not get back to us… After we left the host informed us that the neighbour was wrong… so if you are told you can’t park in front of the property by a neighbour, tell them to take it up with the host.
