2br Villa near Ubud markets

The location was great and within walking distance to the centre of Ubud. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We had a downpour of rain the evening we arrived and the roof leaked onto the stairwell, making the stairs quite slippery. This has been reported to the owner. Please note that there was no area for a vehicle to drop us at the villa and therefore we had to carry our luggage from the main street to the villa. The street is for local residence people only.

Disrespect for the guest

Nothing, disrespectful and disrespectful behavior towards us

First and foremost, the property is not protected against burglaries! There is no enclosure that prevents a thief from breaking into the property. Another thing is that there is severe mold in the apartment. The toilet and shower are of a poor standard. In addition to all this, as soon as we spoke to the owner of the property, she threatened us and said that she would make sure the police took care of us. We left the property immediately, we don't deal with crooks, it's a shame that Booking gives her a place.

Great location and close to everything while very quiet with a green view and good value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at Central House. The location is great, very quiet and set back in a green setting above a small river but only about 250 meters from all the restaurants and shops in Jl. Raya or Monkey Forest Road. Agung was a good communicator and messages each day to be sure everything was good. Made, the house attendant, did a perfect job of cleaning every second day and was always friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk with. The beds were very comfortable too.

Most cars will not drive in to the house so be aware that you (and Made) will have to carry your luggage the 250 meters to Monkey Forest Road. Also be aware that there are steep steps to the upper floor. No problem for us but could be for someone with mobility concerns.

Great location, beautiful homely feeling

Perfect location, right in the centre of ubud but in a quiet location so it isn’t loud or busy. The staff are amazing, really attentive and fast responses. The place actually looks better than the photos and is really comfortable and homely.

We didn’t have any soap in the downstairs bathroom despite seeing toiletries listed. It was fixed quickly though so we only had to share the upstairs toiletries for one night

From the picture it looks like like good property, unfortunately I decided not to stay after I found out there is parking for the car

If you travel by your own car, please consider carefully to stay in this property. Your car will be hardly enter the street since it is very narrow street and fully decorated with street vendors. No parking space, no information that the car will find troubles to enter the property. Not really an appropriate place if you travel with family and bring big luggages as the employees even don’t bother to ask us whether we travel by car or just dropped by.

Very happy to stay in this villa. We will definitely stay in this place again.

The host Made is awesome to deal with, he is a such nice person. The place location is very handy and quiet considering we were right in the heart of the town few steps away from shops and food places. The top terrace is great for having dinner and drinks with awesome tree views.

The constructive criticisms and easy fix is to replace the spring mattress with a memory foam mattress and replace curtains with a thicker material in the bedrooms.
