Location was beautiful, grounds meticulously kept. Pool, hot tub, tennis courts, shuffle board, balconies. We all used the hot tub every night. You can rent snorkel gear, paddle boats etc by the pool hut and there is a washroom right behind it. Views of the ocean and mountains were fantastic- stunning! Saw a few large turtles by the sandy beach front and we all thought that was pretty neat. The condo was roomy enough for all 6 of us and well stocked with toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, hand liquid soap, paper towels, salt /pepper and all dishware, utensils, pots, pans. There was plenty of towels. The washer/dryer was an asset. Lots of hangers, lawn chairs, a boogie board, and fishing pole. There is a cooler in the apartment which was very useful for the beach. The condo was clean and quiet after 10 pm (but there appeared to be a lot of vacant condos during our stay). Parking is free and enough spots for everyone. Grocery store is a 5 minute drive away. Management was very prompt and reactive to any concerns and accommodated us with a late checkout due to availability. Overall, a very nice place and we all had a wonderful time.
Nothing major but we had a few things break while we were there. The shower hose, one overhead bedroom fan stopped working as well as the TVs in 2 bedrooms. We notified maintenance and management and the shower was fixed the very next day. Towel hooks were lacking with the number of people we had, so it would be beneficial for guests if there were a few more hooks. The window curtains in the living room are really dirty and need a good cleaning. The screen door has a small tear but with very few bugs (flies) outside, this wasn't a problem. They could use baking pans (couldn't find them) and maybe a few Rubbermaid containers to help guests take food to the beach. The air conditioner shuts off in 4 hours so you might have to get up in the night to turn it on. All the rooms had ceiling fans. The beds were comfortable except for the sofa bed. The sandy beach area is shallow and not a true beach (a bit rocky) so you need to walk about 10 mins for a beach area. 3 beach chairs are provided, one was broken and a beach umbrella was unusable (the spokes were all bent). These items, when in working condition are great for guests, especially a family like ours who went to a new beach everyday. You can pick up tennis and badminton rackets at the pool hut but they only had 4 rackets so all 6 of us couldn't play on the 2 courts and they had no birdies for badminton so we couldn't play that. The condo was a bit pricey but it seems to be normal for some of the rental properties in Maui.
