Le Félix Faure - Palais Centre Cannes

Poor communication and delivery of keys. Had to wait an extra 45 min to have keys delivered as they were not in lock box on door. Host didn't provide floor or room number in instructions. Neighbor had to let me in exterior door. missed opening dinner with delays. suggest floor number and apartment number in directions. Power panel overloaded and no electricity for over an hour. Fuse reset was outside the apartment and not safe as it could be accessed by anyone in the building.

Hard to reach host and bad communications and availability of host. Have also been waiting 3 days and no receipt sent to file expense report...lack of urgency all around after booking secured and stay completed.

We loved being in Cannes.The apartment is in the heart of the bustling pedestrian precinct and, with numerous cafes and eateries right there to choose from and a gorgeous fruit, vegetable and fish market across the square to browse for the freshest produce, breakfast was never a problem! Fantastic gelateria just opposite too, so plenty of opportunities to try out all the fantastic flavours. Although the apartment is in a busy area, it was extremely pleasant to sit out, drinking coffee or an aperitif, just watching the world go by, and the apartment itself is very tranquil with good soundproofing on the windows. The kitchen facilities were great and a spacious dining area too. The lounge was welcoming and and very comfy with a large screen tv. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms spacious with either a lovely big bath and hand held shower or shower cubicle. Nice separate loo, which is always good when sharing the apartment. Great to have a washing machine and an iron and board. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is a tiny lift big enough for one and their suitcase at a time. We mostly used the spiral stairway anyway, which only took a few minutes! All in all a great apartment in a fabulous town.
