This cottage was perfect for our stay in Dartmoor - cosy, homely, idyllic location and lovely hosts!
We really really enjoyed our stay here - its extremely homely and cosy and peaceful, in beautiful green surroundings within walking distance to the moors, but also so near to the lovely little town of Ashburton. The host was so friendly and helpful in all our communications. I really enjoyed the use of the wood burner in the evenings, with kindling put out ready for us, so so lovely, and of course the home made gooseberry jam - we put it with a curry instead of mango chutney and it worked really well!! Thank you so much for having us!

As near to perfect as holiday cottages get
The host was great and constantly wanted me to throw her ball which she playfully retrieved and dropped at my feet to throw again. Her humans were ok too and had done a great job of presenting a lovely cottage in perfect rural surroundings. Very dog friendly, very clean, very quiet and lovely area.

It was absolutely perfect. Tucked out of the way but just a 7 minute drive to Ashburton (an amazing small town with great food and atmosphere). Could not fault. Amanda the owner is lovely and really goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need.

A wonderfully relaxing family stay in a cosy comfortable cottage, with very friendly hosts.
Wonderful location, secluded yet well linked to surrounding villages and great access to some wonderful walking routes. The cottage is in a working farm, but no noise from farm vehicles.
Perhaps an electric drying rack to get wet clothes dry but really it was wonderful!
